About the Puppies
Meet Shelly's puppies! She has eight beautiful Bordoodles! There are three girls and five boys in this litter. The puppies are f1 bordoodles and are non shedding as well as hypoallergenic. There are some beautiful and rare colours in this litter. Both parents are very sweet dogs and pass their personality on to their puppies. The mom is a beautiful Border Collie and loves everyone, the dad is a medium poodle and is super affectionate. The puppies are medium bordoodles and we expect them to be around 30 to 45lbs full grown.
Bringing Home a Puppy
Step 1
Send us a puppy application, tell us a little bit about yourself. Let us know what you are looking for in a puppy so we can help match you with the perfect puppy.
Step 2
Place a deposit to save a puppy for your family! If we have available puppies you will also be able to set up a time and date to pick your puppy! If not we will place you on our wait list for the next available puppy.
Step 3
Prepare to bring home a new family member! Puppies are adventures and like to play with everything. We recommend you prepare a safe place in your house for you new puppy. Not only so they don't eat your socks but so they stay safe as well.
Some things we think are important to have on hand before you bring home your puppy include: puppy food, collar or harness, leash, chew toys, and a kennel or crate for the puppy to sleep.
Puppies will often pull on a leash as they are learning so it is a good idea to start with a harness so not all the pressure is centralized around their neck, you can definitely upgrade to a collar once your puppy know its manners if you so desire.
Chew toys are important as puppies will go though a teething stage and if they are not provided with something to chew, they can develop problems from not losing their baby teeth.
It is a good idea to at least start your puppy with a kennel or crate, though at first they might not like it, puppies feel safe when they have their own little space for a bed. It also helps with house training, no one likes to make their bed dirty!
You will also need to have some food on hand when you bring your puppy home, we will give you information on what the puppy is currently eating. If you would like to switch their diet we recommend you switch slowly so as not to upset their diet.
We also recommend you set up a vet visit for you puppy within the first 72 hours of bringing it home. This way your puppy is on the schedule and you can book the appointment for it's next set of shots.
Step 4
Once you have everything ready and your puppy is ready you can set up the big day! Definitely the best part bringing your new little guy home!
